Walking Event:Big Wild Walk 2021 at Newport City

Walking Event, Mon 25 - Sun 31 Oct 2021, free entry

South Wales,
NP20 1PA

Get your boots on for beavers! It’s time to walk for wildlife and show you care about the nature and climate crisis with The Wildlife Trusts’ Big Wild Walk, 25 October to 31 October.

Gwent Wildlife Trust are asking nature-lovers to fundraise to help raise vital money for their 30 by 30 mission that will restore at least 30% of land and sea for nature by 2030. The choice is yours to take on one of three challenges:

• Walk 30km over the Big Wild Walk week

• Walk 30km in three days

• Walk 30km in one day

Not up for the walk? You can bike, board, blade or bounce your way to 30k if you'd like to! The main aim is fundraising for your local wildlife!

This is a flexible challenge with many ways to partake for all abilities. If you'd prefer to create your own challenge, that's okay! You could invite the family to join in, set up a remote relay with friends or take the challenge yourself. Indoors or outdoors, front room, park or wood, treadmill or track – the choice is yours.
