Cardiff Airport is situated just off the A4226, which links the airport to other routes in the area. Exit the M4 using Junction 33 and head south on the A4232 (Western link road) and exit at the first interchange (Culverhouse Cross) and take the A4050. Following the A4050 for a few miles will connect to the A4226 which goes directly to the airport. The airport is clearly signposted from the M4.

All areas of the airport are clearly signposted on approach roads.

A rail link connects Rhoose Cardiff Airport station to Cardiff Central and Bridgend. Trains run hourly Monday to Saturday and two hourly on Sundays. There is a shuttle bus service (which costs £1) which meets every train to carry passengers on the short journey to the airport terminal.

There is a shuttle bus which connects the airport to the city centre every 20 minutes. The service boasts a stylish, speedy connection with Wifi and on board travel information for £5.

There are facilities to accommodate bicycles near the bus shelter in long stay car park 1.
