At Llyn Brenig you can enjoy tasty snacks in the Dw^r Cymru/Welsh Water visitor centre and take in views of the lakes, moorland and forest, choose from a number of trails for walkers and mountain bikers, or try the playground.

This beautiful lake – actually a reservoir - is one of the largest areas of inland water in Wales with a perimeter of 9.5 miles / 15km. Built between 1973 and 1976, the reservoir helps to regulate the water supply to the River Dee. We welcome over 160,000 visitors to the site each year and as one of the premier fly fisheries in the UK, host international competitions.

Directions

Follow the A5 to Cerrigydrudion and then take the B4501 north from there until you see the signs for the Dw^r Cymru/Welsh Water Llyn Brenig Visitor Centre. Alternatively take the B4501 from Denbigh.
