Bosherton Lakes

The Bosherston Lakes, the old Stackpole Court site and Lodge Park Woods form the most complete and famous part of Stackpole’s designed landscape. It’s easy to while away a few hours meandering around this part of Stackpole, imagining what it might have been like back in its heyday.

Stackpole's not just about beaches; the beautiful estate is also renowned for its grade I listed landscape and is recognised as a National Nature Reserve.

The parkland here was established by the Cawdor family as a scenic backdrop to their grand home, Stackpole Court. Whilst the house might be long gone (it was demolished in 1963), there's still plenty else to look at, all hinting at the area's lavish past.
