Details

Trefor is a seaside village on the north west coast of the Llyn Peninsula in Gwynedd. It is a popular holiday destination with the Yr Eifl Mountain (564m) as a backdrop for the village

Trefor was once a bustling port, exporting Trefor Quality Granite, to all four corners of the world. The beach, a mix of sand and pebbles, is mostly sheltered, though it does receive winds from the north-west. Trevor's pier - built during the granite boom years and now a popular spot with fishermen - extends into the sea for about 650ft/200m. Nowadays, the inner harbour is mostly occupied by pleasure boats.
