Aberavon seafront is one of Wales’ longest beaches and has a contemporary promenade that overlooks Swansea Bay.

Aberavon Beach at Sandfields in Neath Port Talbot is a 3-mile sandy beach and the northern end of the beach is used by sand yachting enthusiasts and kitesurfers. This is also a popular area for fishing.

The beach is ideal for families and (safe) ideal for swimming and kayaking . There is also a skate park, aqua splash playground, children's play areas and grassed areas alongside and is easily accessible for disabled people.
