Learn, Live & Discover English with Celtic English Academy. With small class sizes, wonderful teachers and great support staff, come and study English in the UK. British Council & IALC accredited (International Association of Language Centres).

We are pleased to announce that as well as our face-to-face classes, we now offer Online English Courses. Join our classes online with our experienced and dynamic teachers, or come to Cardiff to study a programme in immersion.

For over 15 years we have welcomed learners and educational tourists from over 50 different countries, of all ages from 11 - 80+ to study an English language course with us. Whether you are looking for a formal qualification, to go on to University, or simply to travel, experience the culture and communicate more effectively in English, we have something for you.

We can take individual or group bookings, with flexible start dates thanks to weekly enrolments for 50 weeks of the year (we are only closed for 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year).

We offer additional services including; accommodation, airport transfers, orientation and a varied social & cultural activity programme with each course to help students discover the British and Welsh culture.

Normally, visitors who study at the Academy like to stay in one of our accommodation options - in a local homestay, or city centre student residence. Homestay is a great way to immerse yourself in the language and local life. We offer carefully selected local hosts, according to your preferences (e.g. pets, children, distance from the Academy). Our student residence is a high-quality facility with excellent common areas included free of charge (e.g. gym, movie room, games room, lounges). Residence rooms all have private bathrooms and are self-catered. Studio rooms have a private kitchen, whilst standard rooms share a large kitchen dining area with 7 rooms in total.

We also support visitors with booking other accommodation, if required. Cardiff offers an excellent range of hotel, hostel and private accommodation, according to your needs.

We are experienced in group programmes, from school groups to senior stays. We can tailor the programme and services to your needs, working with you to make light work of the logistics so that you can have the best experience possible.

Why not combine a study programme with your trip to Wales? Make the most of your time in the UK - learn the English language, live with local people and discover the culture more intimately!
